Who We are

InkBeat Arts is an organization that empowers young people through artistic expression. InkBeat provides a platform for young voices, both within and outside of educational institutions, through a variety of programs and a literary journal. Our aim is to make the creative arts more accessible to young people and form creative communities.

We publish the InkBeat Youth Journal, a bilingual, triannual print publication featuring original literature and art by 14-19 year-olds. We also offer a variety of programs that help to develop the creative process for young writers and artists, as well as their teachers. Our programs include bilingual creative writing workshops, contests, retreats, teaching materials, student internships, and readings.
